About Us
What I Do
David's Dog Handling specializes in (minimum) hour-long walks. My dog Louis and I have served the Ann Arbor, Michigan community with dog walking adventures since 2015. I have yet to encounter a dog that could not quickly adapt to our forest-walking pack.
We might need to spend a little effort to ensure that all the dogs understand what is involved in following the leadership on our journeys, but I have found that, young pups or old, our canine friends take readily to these expectations, and that their sense of responsibility and accomplishment pays dividends in their home life as well.
Dog Walking: Rain or shine, in blazing heat or, of course, snow and sleet, I’ll be pleased to include your dog on our walks, and I’ll be attentive to make sure that your pup enjoys the conditions on our adventures.
Pet Stays: I would be pleased to take your friend into my home while you are away. And I would be honored to be invited to mind your familiars in their home and yours.

Where and When
David's Dog Handling is newly relocated to serve Ann Arbor and surrounding communities. We will be happy to come to your home for an initial consultation and introductory walk at no charge.
We can then decide what is right for you and your friend(s)--intermittent or daily walks, pet sitting at your house or mine, etc.
We specialize in dog handling, but
We are happy to look after a range of animal companions, tend to your houseplants, and collect your mail while you are away. I'd be happy to drive you to and from the airport. We'll even shovel your snow!
Rates
Daily rates: dog walker
One dog, $30: One-hour walk and playtime with other dogs in the morning or afternoon. David's Dog Handling will pick up and return your pup(s) to your location.
Two dogs $45
Three or more dogs $50
Book a month of weekday dog care (20 days) and pay for 18 days! Please call to book.
Overnight rates: dog sitter
MY HOME
One dog $65/night
Two or more dogs $100/night
YOUR HOME
One dog $90/night
Two or more dogs $140/night
